Jan Boettcher Kyo is a Berlin-born artist working across painting, drawing, installation and digital media. Rooted in the observation of social behavior, cultural transformation and contemporary image culture, his work examines how perception, power, status and collective narratives are shaped through visual systems and media.
Combining classical artistic approaches with digital processes, Boettcher develops works that move between analysis, fragmentation and maybe an analytical Parody? His practice connects analog and virtual image spaces while deliberately remaining open between factual observation, staged construction and parody.
