Landscapes: Empirical Studies
Various dimensions (10 – 160 cm)
This series explores the intersection of direct nature study and formal abstraction. Through the use of expansive negative space and unconventional framing, traditional landscape motifs are deconstructed and reassembled. Whether in oil, acrylic, or drawing, the focus remains on the tension between the physical reality of the environment and the constructive logic of the image.
